In the summer, many insects enjoy a wonderful abundance of blooms. They flit from flower to flower, see their beautiful shapes close up and inhale their heavenly scents. It is as if they want to get as much out of them as possible. It must be fantastic to experience summer so intensely, and perhaps we too should try to get as much as possible out of our beautiful summer flowers. In the depths of winter, do you sometimes look back on those glorious summer days? Then why not extend the pleasure that you get from the plants and flowers in your garden? Dry them!

Autumn is gradually drawing to a close and nature is slowly losing its colour. Of course, with a bit of imagination it is possible to introduce some brightness to the garden in winter, but it will never be as lively as in the other seasons. In addition, the bleak weather tends to keep us indoors.

According to tradition, the Christmas tree is removed from the home after Epiphany, which is on 6 January. Some people do this earlier. However, once the Christmas tree has gone and all the Christmas decorations have been returned to the cupboard until the next year, the living room can seem a bit dull without all the bright lights and tinsel.
