3 Succulents in 3 Spotted Glass Pots - Plant
You will receive three different varieties of succulents. They are already planted up in the spotted glass pots and ready for placing in full sunlight on a sunny window-sill, preferably south-facing. Keep turning the plants to prevent them from becoming one sided. If the leaves change colour or the new leaves are a pale green then the plant is situated in the wrong position – also, avoid draughts.
These succulent plants are very easy houseplants to care for and are tolerant of the dry air. The thick, fleshy leaves can retain a lot of moisture. This serves as a reserve supply during dry periods. Fun indoor plants for difficult spots, like a shelf above a radiator. During the summer they can stand outside on the patio. The leaves are not frost tolerant so they must be brought indoors before the frosts occur.
Succulents need very little attention. During the summer, give sufficient water to thoroughly moisten the compost, then leave to dry out between each watering session. Never allow the plants to stand in water as this could cause the leaves to become soft and fall off. Water less frequently during the cooler period, preferably in the morning. In the spring and summer occasionally add a plant food when watering.
