Plant your Hanging Violets 'Friolina' in a flower pot, hanging basket or planter with holes in the base. Cover the bottom with a layer of potsherds or gravel. Put some potting soil in the hanging basket and place roots of the Hanging Violets 'Friolina' at the correct depth. Fill with potting soil and press firmly. Water immediately after planting.

It is recommended to regularly deadhead the faded flowers of the Hanging Violets 'Friolina, which will encourage more and more flowers. During the flowering period, for an extra rich flowering a liquid fertilizer can be given every 2-3 weeks. These violets bloom from April onwards and may even still bloom throughout the winter. This plant is quite tolerant of the cold weather.
